The ASE A Series exam spans 4 domains: Hydraulic, Power Assist, and Parking Brake Systems Diagnosis and Repair (43% of the exam); Drum Brake Diagnosis and Repair (11% of the exam); Disc Brake Diagnosis and Repair (24% of the exam); Electronic Brake Control Systems: Antilock Brake System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), and Electronic Stability Control System (ESC) Diagnosis and Repair (22% of the exam). Every practice question on this site is tagged to one of these domains.

The domains are not weighted equally on the exam.
